FIRE
PREVENTION WEEK 2000
Local 698 members were busy from
October 8-14 during the annual Fire Prevention Week activities.
Events were held in conjunction with local merchants to
distribute literature and free smoke detectors. Overall the
members of Local 698 impacted approximately 1000 people.
Activities included smoke
detector handouts and battery exchanges, Fire Safety Trailer
Tours*, a CareFlight demonstration and static equipment
displays.
